Meeting the future stars of IP law
Marlow IP Recruitment was delighted to receive an invitation to participate in a careers forum being organised for members of the IP law society at King’s College, London. The event was held on Tuesday 5 December in the historic setting of Bush House in the Strand.

Our Associate Director, Bob Boad represented us and joined a diverse panel of IP practitioners drawn from both private practice and in-house positions. The panellists, who included a barrister, trade mark and patent attorneys and a trainee solicitor, enjoyed the opportunity to engage with this keen group of law students contemplating careers in the IP field. The audience listened with interest as each panellist described their personal career path and then there was a chance for the students to submit questions about the range of opportunities available and the entry requirements.
The evening concluded with a chance to continue the discussions and to network informally with drinks served in one of the building’s impressive galleries.
